oblique_rib_webThis is the troublesome stitch that made me “froggier” than usual.  Call it a ‘distracted mind’ or whatever, but it finally revealed this simple angled design from a 4-row pattern repeat.  This is the Oblique Rib that we talked about in episode 16 of YaT.  The sample pictured to the right is 28 stitches on size 7 needles using some leftovers of Caron’s Simply Soft line.  I’m not sure of the shade of purple.

Oblique Rib

Multiples of 4

Row 1: *K2, P2*, repeat to end

Row 2: *K1, P2, K1*, repeat to end

Row 3: *P2, K2*, repeat to end

Row 4: *P1, K2, P1*, repeat to end

Repeat this pattern for the size/area you need.
